Hurricane Odile Slams Cabo San Lucas
By Skip Snead on September 15, 2014

In what has been recorded as the strongest hurricane in recorded history to hit the Baja Peninsula, Hurricane Odile slammed Cabo San Lucas overnight, trapping more than 30,000 tourists, 80,000 full time residents and halting all flights in and our of San Jose International Airport. While no deaths have been recorded, it is the strongest storm to ever hit the tip of Baja, with winds in excess of 120mph that knocked out power, flooded streets and crushed buildings.
