Johnny O’Connor Wins Hot Dawgs and Hand Rails Event at Bear Mountain

After an epic day of riding and celebrating the official kick-off to our winter season, The 11th Annual Hot Dawgz & Hand Rails is officially a wrap. Changing the game with a totally unique setup in comparison to previous years, the dual zones kept spectators entertained as they watched the best snowboarders on the planet battle it out for top bragging rights.
Taking on all-new features, it was Johnny O’Connor who took the win, followed by Denis Leontyev in second and Luke Haddock in third. For the women, Mariah Dugan took home $1,000 for her smooth style on every feature in sight, while Zach Rawles sealed up the best trick category with b/s 180 to switch 50-50 to switch b/s 360 out.A huge thank you to our sponsors Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Fusion of Ideas, Snowboarder Magazine, Go Pro, Neff Headwear, Red Bull, Electric California and Power 106.
