Pro Surfers Prepare to Slay China’s Silver Dragon

What happens when the ocean meets a river? You get the Silver Dragon, aka the world’s biggest tidal bore. Located in the riverside town of Hangzhou (pronounced Hong-Joe), China, several teams of pro surfers will come together in early September for the Red Bull Qiantang Shoot Out. It’s nothing short of extraordinary. Stay tuned here for more info on the exact dates and teams that will be competing.
