Skater from Iceland Nails Backflip
By Skip Snead on August 29, 2014

It’s not the traditional backflip done on a vert ramp, or inverted 540 style that you might see at X-Games. No. This backflip performed by 13-year-old Egill Gunnar from the skateboarding wonderland of, get this, Iceland, is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. He does it street style, and although it’s not something you’ll likely see at the next X-Games, it’s pretty remarkable. Even if it was at the X-Games, how would they even judge it? Or would they?
